  1. Hi, I'll be 51 in January. My Grandpa bought my first model when I was 6. Got back into models heavy again 20 years ago. Tell your parents your NEVER too old to build models. I always remind my wife when she complains about my hobby that I'm not hanging out in the bars or worse. I don't own a 25K bass boat(no offense if you do), not gone every deer and turkey season(again no offense to you hunters). Steve
  2. Hi, I need to know if anyone had ever had any luck getting parts from either of these diecast complanies. LMK. Thanks,Steve
  3. HEY Steve, Steve here from St.Louis. How have you been? Had to work and missed the slammers show, bummer. I won't miss it next year. Steve (truckmankits1958@yahoo.com)
  4. Hi, Eureka is southwest of st louis down I-44 near the six flags theme park. Please email me if you need detailed directions. Opens a 9am. Steve
  5. Hi, I want to start a club of model builders. I live in West Stl county, but we can try and meet somewhere along the I-270 loop. I just have to find some where to meet that doesn't charge. LMK. Steve truckmankits1958@yahoo.com
  6. ******Hi, Well, things may have changed but a buddy of mine sold new kits at swap meets a few years back and his MIN. order revell required each OCT was $5000.00. All you need is a state tax # and $5K and you are in business. BTW: he gave it up. It got harder each year to meet the $5K min. order. Steve
  7. Hi Greg, As you know evilbay is going require all sellers to only accept paypal when selling on evilbay. I would consider using your site if you would drop the paypal requirement. Maybe you can find another payment service not owned by evilbay. Food for thought. Steve
  8. HI, I know about that one, but I'm pretty sure you can only take paypal(owned by evilbay). Greg needs to look into changing this requirement. Steve
  9. Hi, I'm not going to be forced to take credit cards so evil bay can make even more $. Need to find another auction site to use and promote it to fellow modelers. Any ideas????????Steve
  10. HI, Looking for maverick hoods and grills that perry's make. They don't mail order these parts so, I need someone to buy them at a local model show out east. LMK if anyone can help. Thanks,Steve
  11. HI, This was the first year in the last 4 that I missed this show due to a job change. Will try to make it next year. The club that puts the show on are a bunch of good guys. Steve
  12. HI, The fault falls upon the seller for sending it parcel post. Just wanted to let people know what could happen. The decsion is yours. Steve
  13. Hi, I've been waiting for over two weeks to get a box of some really neat stuff I won on ebay. The seller used parcel post because it was cheaper(charged me 17.00 for shipping). Well, with the USPS you get what you pay for. Poor service. I have shipped stuff overseas and have gotten better service. From now on when I win something on ebay I advise the seller NOT to use parcel post. I encourage everyone to do the same thing. Thanks, steve
  14. HI, I picked up the kit from the movie "Used Cars"at a antique mall. These were given to the owners of the movie houses that showed the movie. The kit I have containts a mpc 80's camaro. I've also heard some came with monogram camaros. Steve D.
