TDR 1/24 Turbos?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, Tim from TDR here.

Just click on this link and you will be taken to the turbo section of our website catalog. At the top of the page you will see a dimensioned picture of the tubos we offer. click on the small pic and it will expand to a large pic where you can see all the dimensions of the turbos we sell. You will just have to divide them by the scale you are working in.

Lastly, we are starting a major push to get our parts down into the 1/25 scale size. The printing technology is starting to let us get down there now. I currently pushing the BBC kits down into the small scales, check them out when you get the time.

look for us on Facebook.

Thanks

Tim

I agree that these turbos are fantastic! I bought a set for my Pro Mod Mustang project (That got kinda stalled and it will probably end up being something else than a Pro Modified). The turbos look very good and the texture that always is in 3D parts is very minimal. I highly recommend these parts.

I bought mine from Ted's Modeling Marketplace. Ted is a very nice guy to deal with. http://www.tedsmodelingmarketplace.com/turbo-chargers-all-sizes/

  • 2 weeks later...

I bought some 2 weeks ago. I forget what size I'll have to check. Very little cleanup needed. I haven't done anything with them yet but they look very nice. I think I bought the 2.5" turbos. I got them for the Nissan r390gt1 kit but they are way too big. They would be good as huge turbos on a small block or medium turbos on a big block.

I would recommend them

Here are the pics I have right now. I haven't done anything with them yet. They look a little rough in the pictures, but they should clean up nicely, just as good or better than a resin casting. The texture is perfect for the casted finish.
