Lou N
All, Just wondering if anyone is using an ultrasonic cleaner to clean their airbrushes? I found one that hold a bit over 2 pints that I think would be big enough. Thanks, Lou
Dr. Cranky
Yes, I do, and they work great, but I have a very small unit that works like a charm.
Rob McKee
Yes, I do, and they work great, but I have a very small unit that works like a charm. Interesting. I haven't heard of one of these used in the past. Where did you find your ultrasonic cleaner? What model is it? Thanks, Rob

diymirage
i clean my airbrush on the same schedule as we do maintenance on the presses at my job...when it breaks down seriously though, i run a cup of laquer thinner through it when i first fire it up, when i change colours and when im done that is about the extend of my cleaning i have a paasche H series and it takes the abuse. i used to have a badger 150 and it would not put up with that type of treatment AT ALL

Skydime
I found two at Harbor Freight. one was $75 and one was $25. They are on this page: http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?keyword=ultrasonic
Tonioseven
I think I'm gonna invest in an ultrasonic cleaner. Currently I just shoot some lacguer thinner through my Paasche H after I'm finished spraying with it. My Iwata seems to be a bit more temperamental so I have to completely disassemble it to clean it. tabsscale1
Yes, I do, and they work great, but I have a very small unit that works like a charm. So what do you use in it to clean your airbrushes? Lacquer thinner or water Or what? Thinking of buying one for myself for Christmas
