JFortner5
That is really cool I'd be afraid to try it. Sub'd for the results. BTW that's my favorite paint scheme Gordon ever had. I'd love to see them do the new car in those colors.

Thanks for the nice comment, I was afraid too at first but after starting to work with brass and solder more and more you kinda get the hand of things. I think the results will be nice. BTW, that paint scheme is also growing on me as well. I also been trying to get some sanding work done on the shell as well. DPink
The first reference pic is from Forza Motorsport 3 or 4 on the Xbox 360. The car in the game is a '02 Monte Carlo stock car.

MoparWoman Jamie
Hi you all, well this year has been strange. I'm back to working on this project. With me loosing track of where I was. I decided to start with making a chassis prototype. After doing a lot of research online for ref photos. I still have questions about where the air ducts are ran to inside the car, the fuel lines, stuff like that. IF anyone can post photos of stuff like that or any other areas it would be great. Now down to the chassis. I decided to chop the rear trunk area to move things around.

MoparWoman Jamie
I know it's been a while since I updated this project. I talked to my mother-in-law back at Easter time this year. I got her input and also my wife as well on it. I know I can do better on the floor pan an chassis as well. I have a vision of what I want this project to look like when done. I do have a few other projects going as well. A few I have not posted about yet.. I might maybe. But with this project, I been studying here and there of what the real car looks like, and watching on you-tube on how NASCARs are built and how the cages look. I want to get back to working on this maybe this weekend or soon.
