Started laying down the white base coats......black plastic is quite difficult to cover with white primer! Going to need to wetsand the white base to smooth it out enough for continued dustings of white in preparation for the White Pearl coats. Oh yeah, pay no mind to the upper part of the windshield frame......the last of the crack that was down the entire roof. I have pinned/glued it and will fix it up later. Got some more work done on it......Wetsanded two more times over two days, basecoated white lacquer, dusted with HOK Silver Pearl (with gold pearl mixed in), and shot with three layers of clearcoat. Tomorrow will be wetsand again down to 12000 grit and then polish. Thank goodness it is Pearl White now!! Couldn't get the pearl to "pop" on camera due to no ambient light (night time shots) but you kinda get the idea. Looks awesome in person!
