ranma Posted September 23, 2014 Share Posted September 23, 2014 As I sit here typing this my dad lays in his bed in the hospice center, In just a few short Hours he be gone. He found out in april of this year that he had blood cancer. He worked At INTERNATIONAL Harvester in FT.Wayne Indiana from 1962 till the FT.Wayne factory closed. He finished his 30 years with Navistar in 1992. He painted Trucks for 28 years. And is the reason I got in the Hobby so many years ago. Back in 1974 My Brother and I recived a 4070 a for Christmas. Back in 2005 , my mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer ; she succumbed to its advances on 4th Octobre 2005 at 2345 HRS . I was holding her hand when she passed . Keep strong , Rick . I lost my dad to massive heart attack on June 16, 2007. Remember, theyre never truely gone till theyre forgotten, memories live forever, therefore our loved 1s live forever. September 24,2014 3:48 pm ( edt) I'm glad I have a great tribute to him with My International Truck model collection. His passing wasn't hard on me with have gone through it with My late wife.
