rat rod style zoomies

Recommended Posts

There are a lot of drag railjob kits that have zoomie headers. The AMT / Model King "Two Much" dragster has 2 sets, plus a couple of front-distributor Hemi engines, blowers, etc.

The Two Much headers are made so it's relatively easy to change the spacing of the pipes to be correct for different engines.

Ummm, these are all different for the specific application. Carefully fabbing them out of brass or aluminum tube will be your best bet. You can solder brass, you'll most likely have to CA aluminum, although there are solders made for aluminum.

Brass tubing usually has thinner walls than aluminum and looks better on the open ends, but if you lightly file the ends inside aluminum tubes, you can make them look right.

Common primary pipes are 1.5" in diameter. That scales out to .060" tube in 1/25 scale.

Bending tubing without crushing it and looking dorky takes practice.
