MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. Nicely done. The beauty of a classic with modern horsepower.. Great color choices.
  2. Cool concept. Goes to show even a car as mundane as a Chevette can be cool. Nicely.
  3. And yet another plane shedding parts. Might be time to start wearing a hard hat all the time. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/mar/16/united-airlines-boeing-plane-loses-external-panel-in-flight
  4. Nicely done. Great color and conception. Laser clean executution.
  5. So Atlantis steps up to the plate and buys a treasure trove of old tooling. And in that tooling is Revell parts packs kits. Instead of yelling that from the roof tops we have a bunch of box art critics. This is the time we should be helping Atlantis promote these and the other kits they have. Has anyone thought to offer some proposals for better art work? And one final thought if Atlantis hadn't bought this tooling it probably would have been scrapped
  6. "Reach for the sky" was a common western saying.
  7. In the 2024 Detroit Autorama great 8 was a white Cadillac. It did not have the same impact as this . If this was full size it would be really cool.
  8. All this over semantics. I would say Jim Keeler is a model kit designer. Which is different than being a car designer.
  9. Costco has had someone check your purchases for years when you leave the store. And in a lot of cases they are pushing the customers in that direction. Limited in store stock. Lock everything up and not have enough employees with keys. There are lots of advantages to fewer or limited size stores. No rents, they need less employees. More centralized inventory. The attempt to reduce the number of clerks with self checkout has not been the win the stores had hoped. Higher shrinkage do to unintended customer mistakes and intentional shrinkage by the outright thieves.
  10. Hope you are feeling better today Carl.
  11. Very cool. Great design. One of the best winners in a few years.
