tjones87 Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 I am going to start customizing this kit and was wondering how I would go about lowering it....I have been looking at it for a day or so, and just cant wrap my mind around what needs to be done. On another note, has anyone ever chopped a big rig or customized this kit drastically? truckaddict Posted November 28, 2012 Share Posted November 28, 2012 not the easyest of kits to lower. one option is to z the frame. another is to shave everything thiner for a slight drop. The front is just a matter of moving the mounting for the springs up on the frame. It depends on how drastic you want to go. Id say just stick it together dry and see where you can get some height. tjones87 Posted November 28, 2012 Author Share Posted November 28, 2012 I was looking at it and basically did what BigBad done, just took a little more off the front....and couldn't get anything done to the rear, but it sits pretty good.
