Megazord_man
Hi, Having had a week painting something other than a vehicle I'm ready to get back into doing a zombie hunter ride. This time on working on a Shelby GT350R conversion from Dark World Creations (having just checked I see these are now on their website). I hope you like! I've got a very small time frame for this as its to be completed before a show in Bath UK on the 25th Nov. Gulp! John. Megazord_man
That's one crazy looking film, I read the book a while ago and thought it ok but the film looks to be setting a new standard!

freakshow12
looks cool, but its a 66... according to the guage pod in center of dash its a 65. 66 had a different tach in a different location and also functional side scoops.

Megazord_man
Right then, I've a long painting day ahead but so far I've finished the wheels, engine and underneath. Next I'm onto the interior. The resin kit is from Dark World Creations - http://www.darkworldcreations.com/shelby-gt350-upgrade-prod-37.html

Dr. Cranky
John, this is a beautiful model. If you don't mind I am copying the photos to include them in the next TZH Squad Caravan Video Update. Keep it going, it's going to be a winner. Megazord_man
Thank you so much for saying so - it put a smile on my face Do you have a link to the video's - I've looked but coundn't find them? Also I'm super happy for you to include these in the next one. With regard to forthcoming vehicles, I'm not sure - I do know there's more in the pipe line and over heard speak of a Bronco but whether that was related to this I don't know. Here's the finished interior and resin back part - Now onto the resin windows and metal thing at the front.....

Megazord_man
Thanks guys, it nice to know I'm not the only one that enjoys posting my wips! I've now put the thing together and painted the bare metal parts - using a white pencil I added manufacturing chalk marks Next is the weathering the main body, but that will have to wait to tomorrow (and the coming few days)

Megazord_man
Thanks Sean. I have made a couple of minor updates to the Shelby - Spade, Axe and M2 Machine Gun are all now complete just leaving the top box and body work to do. Megazord_man
Well, I've driven it through the mud and left out in the rain over the last couple of days. Once again I'm slightly concerned that I've pushed the weathering too far. But it is what it is now - I can't take it to the car wash. Having said that it does look used! Just have the top luggage rack to work on now.
