  1. Does anyone here have photos of the "Incorrect" body and the "Corrected" body. I just received a kit off of E-bay and everything in the box is complete and unopened, except the bag which holds the body. The body I have is white, but I'm not sure if it is the "Corrected" body or not. Sorry, I should have taken a photo of mine. Thanks! Paul
  2. Yeah, George your right! I just thought it would look cool under the hood! Thanks! Paul
  3. Is there a model kit with a 440 6-pack motor that will fit a Revell 1/25 Pro Modeler 1969 Charger? Thanks! Paul
  4. Yeah, I almost had one this weekend on E-bay, but got outbid! Those models are not cheap! Oh well, theres always more to come up for sale! Thanks for the replies! Paul
  5. I have seen some of your other builds(buy the way, great models!) in this forum, and I'm looking forward to lots of updates and pictures on this build. I started the "Best kit for '64 GTO thread", and had no I idea what would end up happening(touchy subject), but I did see alot of great '64 GTO models and learned alot! I plan on building a '64 GTO too, in the near future. Paul
  6. I just wanted to say thanks for all the great replies and outstanding pictures of some great '64 GTO's. The feedback allowed me to really learn alot, and I went with the Monogram (red molded plastic version). Should be delivered next week! I'm sure when I start building it, I'll be asking more questions! Thanks again! Paul
  7. Has anyone here built an AMT Race Car Hauler/ Ford LN8000. If I could see pictures of it that would be great, as I'm thinking of buying and building one. Thanks! Paul
  8. This is the GTO I'm going to build my model by: http://ultimategto.com/cgi-bin/showcar.cgi?type=lot&pic=/1964/64_00155_5
  9. So if I go with the "stock" version with red molded plastic, will I have any issues with "bleed through after painting? The red molded versions are cheaper and more plentiful then the "2n1" versions. Thanks! Paul
  10. Wow! You guys build some great models! Makes me want to buy a "real" one and drive it at the Woodward cruise! Paul
  11. Thanks George! I think I will get the Monogram/Revell 64 GTO. I do not want to invest the $$$$ for the original issue AMT version, especially if I was to make a mistake! Is this the one to get? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MONOGRAM-1964-PONTIAC-GTO-RED-OLD-1-24-FS-mcm-VINTAGE-MODEL-KIT-/380375376219?_trksid=p4340.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DDLSL%252BSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BIEW%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D8%26pmod%3D380362604681%252B380362604681%26po%3D%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D3383126763597682419
  12. When you guys talk about the old AMT 1964 GTO, are you talking about the AMT/ERTL Johnny Lightning version? Thanks! Paul
  13. Thanks guys for the info, really appreciate it. Now, the hunt begins!
  14. Hey guys, Which brand of kit would be best to build a 1964 GTO(stock)? Thanks! Paul
