hi guys what can i use to strip paint off my car body without destroying the plastic (i`m sorta new to the hobby) thanx in advance

hey folks i`m sorta new to the hobby (carmodeling) so i`m apt to making mistakes i just recently painted a 64 t.bolt ford with enamel (black) and it looks like ###### just wondering whats the best way for me to strip the paint off and start over? is there something i can use( household products)? or something.......thanx in advance for any help ...........p.s. somebody told me that the t.bolts only came in white in 64 is that true??
