1932 Ford Prostreet Pickup

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Got this completed and took it to a show, placed 2nd and a judge said it was the seat belts that had let it down. I wasn't too happy about the belts myself so I took it apart and replaced them. Took the redone model to a show last weekend and it won its class so the extra effort was worth it! Here are some photos of the completed model, starting with how it was presented at the last show on one of Scale Motorsport's stands with the ends painted to match the pickup:

Now that this is out of the way I'm going back to a '40 Ford coupe that I have now painted the body 4 times - arrrggh!

Thanks for the comments! The stance comes from a scratchbuilt chassis incorporating the suspension and wheels from the Revell Willys street rod kit, just put the suspension into the chassis where the wheels dictated it, got a bit lucky with the final outcome. The colour is Porsche Colbalt blue.
