I have vetted and cleared this thread of a lot of ######.

Yes, I can say ######.

No ######.

You guys better listen up.

This is my forum, my baby, my sweat, blood, tears, divorce(s), bankruptcies, and the backbone (ironic as that may be) of my life.

It is an extension of what I envision our hobby to be, combining the digital age with the printed paper we love to ###### and read with. (######, can I say that?)

Yeah, that's right, the boss is cussing.

I have never gone through posts before and edited/vetted them out.

I am getting sick of this ######.

Stop the bitching about someone else's work!

I have thousands of friends in this hobby, and even though I may rub Buddha's stomach, I can honestly say I am blessed with the friendship, love, support, and brotherhood of each and every one of you.

But, there are limits to my compassion. I have always let the forum take it's own turns, watched from afar (not above, I am not GOD), and have let the forum run its course.

However, it's time to put my slippers down. I'm not wearing my black Italian suit as I say this - it's surfer shorts and barefoot, so this is me.

It's not Reverend Gregg (sorry, NNL West and NNL East inside joke)

I have gone to more shows than anyone I know of in this hobby.

I have met probably over a hundred thousand modelers across the country.

I have seen enough model cars to last 200 lifetimes of the average modeler.

I have been able to live the model car builder's dream, and I don't take it for granted even for a second.

I have seen great models, models I have wanted to feature (and take home in my luggage as well)

I have been disgusted by others playing pranks on fellow modelers, playing on their love of the hobby, switching Model Cars photo cards under models that "they" thought were not worthy.

But I still photograph them, and sometimes publish them.

I have seen the best, and worst, of this hobby.

But enough is enough.

I am able to call so many of our readers and forum members part of my ohana, and I am able to be invited as a guest to almost every city in this country, thanks to the friendships I have been blessed with over the years.

I am not taking sides, although Santiago would probably be able to kick my okole, but enough is enough.

If you don't like someone's build, fine, go to the next post, thread, or maybe even forum or web site.

This forum, my forum, is an ohana (family in Hawaiian). There is no ohanas (there is no "s" in Hawaiian, so take your hit someplace else)

I am sick of the negative posts.

I own this site.

I pay the bills.

I answer to no one, no corporate structure dictating what can and can't be done.

It's about my passion for the hobby, and dammit, it's my hobby too!

I build, I love Model Cars, and this is my life… take it or leave it.

Sorry, Harry, I took over the thread.

Santiago, see you here in Hawai'i in November, hopefully my brand new 5,000 sq. ft house will be built by then (divide that by 1/4, on a 3,000 sq. ft. lot, and you can laugh all the way to the bar, on me.....) The price of paradise, 40+ years and counting.

a' hiu ho!

Okay, I pau…

My apologies Gregg, I was WAY out of line. I should have left it alone, but I got suckered in by the guy, and after having been on the other forum, and seeing this constantly, I got fed up over it, and let my anger out on someone who I should've ignored.

My apologies also to Jeff, for pirating his post, and being a jerk. You deserve accolades for your work. Not pigheaded fighting, with your work being ignored. You did a super job on your van kit, and you should be proud of it.

My apologies go out to Santiago as well, I shouldn't have stirred the pot.

Thanks again for having a great forum Gregg, and letting us be here.

Marshall.
