  1. Need more info on your products. How do you find a chassis for that impala? I want to do the same car, '61. Those frames are sweet!!!
  2. Heres the stang. No engine. Had a 4cyl turbo in the kit. Im waiting to get a aftermarket one soon...
  3. Twin superchargers. 351 Windsor. Plumbing, usual fun stuff. Oil/PCV system breather(can't see now, lol.) Computers n passenger compartment. Slixx decals. Pro Tech wires, distributor, hoses. Thanks for looking.

  5. Looks Good!!!!! Those year dodges look mean....
  6. Yes thanks for pointers. This motor was actually gonna go in a 79' Cobra mustang i built a while back but opted for the engine stand idea beside the drag car, like its getting freshened up. Really just to show off the chassis n stuff too. I was really thinkin of the motors I build in the garage when i put it together, for a street car. I get all my techniques down, I'll build a actual scale one like u guys do, lol... Plus all my family n friends would ask why the spark plug wires aren't going to the spark plugs, lmao!!!
  7. Yea, I know.. I didn't realize that until I super glued them in place, lol... Already drilled the holes so I glued them in place. Woulda been a lot easier!!
  8. Plumbing with Pro Tech fuel lines, oil sump pump, distributor. Nitrous lines are some metal bracelet wire I got at craft store, lol. Detail Black wash valve covers for authenticity. Computers in interior. Fuel pump made with the vibrator from a cell phone(really cant see it, behind fuel cell.) Engine stand, I cant remember, I think ebay. Jack stands came from same place. Have a tool box also to complete the diorama. Boss 429 Mountain motor.
  9. Man.. This guys builds are ridiculous!!!!! Maybe when Im 60yrs old, Ill get this good too...

  11. Braided lines and just about everything I get comes from Pro Tech model scale. His website shows all his stuff, just gotta order through mail, via check or $ order. Which he shipped my stuff before he deposited the check. Excellent stuff. Looks very real, all of it. Buy a "pin vice", small drill for tiny applications, study your build sheet and drill some holes here and there. Use small electronics for the wires, computers n stuff. Cell phones are great. Alarm clocks, etc. http://www.protechmodelparts.com/ My first model I can't even remember. Around 5 yrs old(1984) my Grandpa and I built a Swamp Rat/Don Garlits. Directly after that, same age we built a giant See through Engine. Probably when they first came out, lol. Those are pretty cool, working/moving parts inside. I been hooked since. All through the years, here and there. Big cars got my attention when I started driving of course, but in the winter time I like to stay inside and put 1 or 2 together. Lost it for a while, just now getting back serious and reading, searching a lot on the web for helpful hints/tips. This is a good website. Tell you this. I don't know how a built a model without the super glue made by testors. Fantastic. I'll never use the other model glue again. You can do just about anything you want.
  12. Mostly done with paint. Plumbing engine now. Twin superchargers up front!!! Couple computers/ wiring in the inside.
  13. Found a RC car shop that I been meaning to stop at, its kinda new in town. He had some Tamiya spray cans. Found a Grey/Green, looks nice except bubbled up in a few spots. Took the primer undercoat with it when I went to scrape it off. Got most of it worked out, gonna be fine once I put some stickers over the spots, lol.. I'll post some pics once I get it done.
  14. Where is some good webistes for paint? Spray paints mainly. I live n a small town. Only hobby store we have is just about out of business, has mainly flowers and nic nack stuff for wreath builders, lol. They used to have a large selection of paints, etc., but last few times i went there its basically wiped out of supplies. There is a Michaels but its really limited on the supplies as well. Anyone have a brand name of paint that works good on plastic model kits? Need a charcoal grey. Got a Lincoln Mk8 pro street.
  15. Ford Boss 429 Bob Glidden T-bird Funny Car. Goin in the Mustang.
