1968 Dodge Dart Pro street car- Replica of 1:1

I am building a 1:1 1968 dart pro street car..

I got this dart in on a trade with a whole bunch of other cars.. This is going to be a exact replica of my own dart.

I've been working on it for about a year now off and on... I just recently got going on it again.

I bought a custom made chassis for it along with a cowl hood.

Custom suspension with 4 link and coil overs

Pro street wheels and tires

I am currently having a engine built from a experienced builder... He is building it to every last detail I say... Chrome Fabbed valve covers, oil pan ect ect .. all custom with a 727 auto trans.

He is also doing all the wiring and plumbing on the engine.... so it is a exact replica of mine.

I was VERY lucky to start out with such a clean car, Car was a Mr.Norm Big Block GTS car that was slowly wasting away... It is the black one in the first pic...

Hope Everybody enjoys it, I don't have any pics from earlier in the build.. I like getting built cars so I can restore it like a real car. let me know if you have any... I would be happy to take them off your hands

nice build. both of them! nice to see another 1:1 pro street mopar on the forum. the 1:1 has got a lot of metal taken out. was it an X-race car or did you do all the drilling? looks like a small block with turbo(s)? I will keep an eye on this build. cant beat a mopar, let alone a pro street mopar!

have a great day,

Tubbs
