The Creative Explorer
I finished this one a little while ago, but forgot to post the final pics. It was a very straightforward, simple build, but I did opened the hood and wired the engine underneath: Edited January 28, 2010 by Erik Olijnsma

The Creative Explorer
Thanks for the reply's guys! The color is pearlgold as base, then I added the tribal with candy-apple red and on top I added some coats of Candy emerald green, topped with X21 from Tamiya, unthinned and through the airbrush. I was suprised with the nice effect of the paint, the gold comes through with a certain light and makes it colorshift a little. @Steve; the wheels came with the kit, but were leftover parts. Meaning, the tires that came for the right ZG wheels, didnt fit the Watanabe's. The wheels were too wide too, so I modified the tires and wheels so it does fit. @Tito: How are you? I am doing fine, long time no see man!, and thank you!. This car came with basically no-chrome factory stock, so I kept with it, but I decided to go a tiny-little custom with it. Modernise it a tad. I will starting on the same car, but in 1/12 scale soon. @Lee: I made the ghost markings by shooting a little bit of candy-red through a tribal mask and painted over that with candy-green, but to be honest, I wish I used a little less candy-red. And I will see if I can make some pics in the next few days.
whale392
So where's the engine pics?! I have a thing for the Z, whether it be in its' Fairlady configuration or in its' American guise. I love the 'L' series motor, and even moreso the S20.
