Scratch build something and you might like it! This is in no way as "big as Darryls" but I did the decals on my own, yes, they are just black! What did you do? How many guys put nothing on the table? Obviously you had fun building it. If your building for a trophy your missing the point of modeling. Eons ago when I was president of the MCMA I would announce where we bought are awards from. Say they have the art work you can buy one. You did a nice job on your Nova, you got nothing to be upset about, blow it off. Ask the judges what they didn't like about your car. You just might embarrass the daylights out of them because the wow factor of something else may have caused them to not even look at your car. A little constructive criticism can help you out too.
