Pete J.
Gadzooks Harry, could you have picked a more generic car! It's a ToyNissanChevDodgeAMCeuroFordHolden 2 door hatchback from the 70's. Frankly I can only see one clue and it is driving me nuts !
Matt Bacon
I dunno -- there can't have been many cars that came with a small-scale cut-out version of itself fitted to the windscreen... ;-P bestest, M.

otherunicorn
Easy, it's a VW Bug. Are you sure? After searching that line, I wasn't entirely convinced it wasn't some rare fiberglass thing. The headlight ring doesn't look quite right!

Harry P.
This week's car is a 1981 Ford Corcel II. Corcel II was built in several South American countries between 1977-86. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Corcel Who got it right: badluck13 MikeMc george53 farmer1 Agent G customsrus kataranga 62rebel

DonW
Well I'm amazed! I picked up on the 3 wheelnuts but thought it was some kind of Renault 12/15/17 or Citroen based thing but that was as far as I got. And it turns out it was based on a Renault 12! Henry would turn in his grave... Good one Harry!
peter31a
I was busy thinking it was some kind of Audi or VW product.

I saw the red centers on the rims and was looking at Fiat's. that was a tough one Harry.
DonW
I see the VW bit, but to me it looks like a cross between a Mark 4 Ford Cortina, a '74 Toyota Corolla and a shopping trolley! The body is too big for the running gear. Bring on the next one!
Agent G
Like everyone else I began with european cars from the 70's-80's. At some point I discovered the South American connection and it went from there to the right answer. I got it wrong once, real darn close but wrong none the less. I just knew that sheet metal in the rear quarter panels but could't place it until I saw hundreds of photos. Good one Harry. G

otherunicorn
I got the right date. I got the right manufacturer. I even got the right country. But evidently I failed to try all three in the same search because I certainly didn't get the car! http://felipestanque.blogspot.com.au/2011/09/paper-model-de-ford-corcel-ii.html Edited January 24, 2014 by otherunicorn
