not much going on here!

just use of some guitar string for fuel lines running from tank to block pump then to carb.

used g. string for a carb stud post as well,

used a Plymouth parts box firewall for extra detail and heater hose hookups and a wiper motor

guitar strings for master cylander lines

changed this aod jeep into a standard shift borrowed a jeep cj 5 speed drilled a hole in the floor for shifter to mate to manual tranny

chrome rims are borrowed from cj kit as well

clean box stock build with little extras

may try to wire the motor sometime in the future

Weren't they really classed as J-10s and J-20s?

yes j-10's and j-20's my Dad had a j-10 which was a v6 motor with standard shift tranny 4x4

thinking of carefully removing the motor so i can go ahead and wire this guy for that little extra realism and detail B)

saw another memeber getting ready to make a rock crawler wish I had another kit to do something like that with,

This one was a simple box stock build, except for the swapping of the auto tranny for a 5 speed from a cj-7 along with grafting in a plymouth duster firewall to the flat no detail plastic firewall for more detail such as heater hose and wiper motor, as well as borrowing the cj's chrome wheels thought they looked a touch nicer then the kit provided wagon looking spokers

Thanks mike i'll be watching yours for sure I am also trying to build a "scrambler" but i don't think i quite extended the bed far enough so it may just turn into an extended bed cj-7 rock crawler or something i'll need to watch your build carefully on how to go crawler style B)

Love it. Not Revell's finest effort, but in the right hands it makes for a pretty convincing little replica.

Very nice. I wonder when Revell will get around to reissuing this one?

Scott

Whenever it is, it won't be soon enough if you ask me! :D Quite a few versions of this I want to build, and that number doubles when you count the resin Wagoneer conversions I want to build as well....
