Super Stock Catalina

This is box stock apart from plug wires and mods to the rear axle to get the tyres to clear the bodywork.
I washed the chrome with a darker than usual wash in an attempt to do something a bit different to go with the satin paint. It's given it a sort of used but not been cleaned look without going to the lengths of weathering like a military builder.
Paint is blue from Zero Paints (seriously, that's what they call it - Blue similar to TS something or other).

Thanks folks.

Mike - the decals are actually under the satin clear.

It was going to be shiny but due to a number of reasons (the weather, impatience, incompetence etc) the gloss 2 pack clear ended up looking not very good (he said not swearing).

So I decaled it and then shot it with acrylic satin clear.

I'll let you into a secret. If you see one of my builds with satin paint it generally means I stuffed the gloss clear... :D
