zenrat Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 This is box stock apart from plug wires and mods to the rear axle to get the tyres to clear the bodywork. I washed the chrome with a darker than usual wash in an attempt to do something a bit different to go with the satin paint. It's given it a sort of used but not been cleaned look without going to the lengths of weathering like a military builder. It was going to be shiny but due to a number of reasons (the weather, impatience, incompetence etc) the gloss 2 pack clear ended up looking not very good (he said not swearing). So I decaled it and then shot it with acrylic satin clear. I'll let you into a secret. If you see one of my builds with satin paint it generally means I stuffed the gloss clear...
