Thank you all for the kind words.

Deano - the country has changed. No longer are our Veterans treated like 2nd or 3rd class people. We wanted a memorial for our missing and dead - so we built the Vietnam Veterans Memorial - The Wall. We wanted to be welcomed home - so we organized our own parades in New York, Chicago and LA. We didn't like the way we were being treated and so we changed the whole country's attitude. Thankfully, that attitude adjustment is carried on to our present day troops.

Bob - there's a special place in a warriors heart for our fallen brothers. The inscription on the Canadian Vietnam Veterans Memorial (built by Vietnam Veterans from Detroit) says our thoughts very nicely. For you, Bob. "As long as we live, you shall be remembered. As long as we live, you shall be loved. As long as we live, you shall live".

Jim, You inspired me to buy my first can of rootbeer, paint that is. I just returned from Hobby Lobby with a can of Testors Root Beer, now to decide what to use it on. I am thinking about the '48 Ford Custom. It's all your fault!
