  1. Its probably either the old Good Stuff body or Reliable resins. I don't know of anyone else who made them. Good luck with it. The MPC Don Nicholson Cougar funny car chassis might fit.
  2. You are welcome. I have 2 old Drag Strip magazines with articles on both cars, but my scanner is'nt working. I'll try to get some decent pics of them. Drag Strip Magazine March 1968 has the article on the car you are building. It shows up on ebay from time to time.
  3. These are some pics of Roger Lee's chassis for the longnose Nova ( '66 ) He was kind enough to share them with me for reference for my styrene version. I have read that J Jim built the real chassis himself on his garage floor.
  4. I just ran across this pick on facebook. Maybe it will help with your build.
  5. The 67 Nova originally had a black chassis and was later painted light blue. The main part of the body was steel with fiberglass doors , front end etc. It also had opening doors. The body color was GM Marine Blue. Good luck with the build. You can get the proper front wheels for this car from the Miss Deal funny car kit.
  6. Thats a good one . Thanks , I appreciate it.
  7. Thanks , I appreciate that. Look forward to seeing them.
  8. That makes sense. This is my favorite Glidden car. Trying to get it right. thanks.
  9. I'll be starting a build of this car soon. Waiting on a Rickie Smith kit from e-bay. Got the March '83 issue of Popular Hotrodding, some pretty good reference in there. Will be ordering decals from Slixx. My question is this. Does anyone know if the whole chassis is dark blue ? The article says that the roll cage is, I was just wondering about the rest of it. Any help will be appreciated.
  10. Thank you. I'll be posting pics of the finished model soon.
  11. The front wheels are from a Revell Chi Town Hustler kit. Kit chrome. Rear wheels are from an AMT Mustang funny car.
  12. I'm not to good with step by step pics, but my Willys is coming along. Got most of the wiring done. Started on the seatbelts. Using the front axle from the Revell kit. Easier to add spindles for the wheels I'm using. Front clip does'nt line up well with the kit hinge , so I'll be making one with brass rod and aluminum tubing. Thanks for looking.
  13. These two paintings are acrylic on canvas.
