sbk
Yow! Outstanding! I guess I'll see it at GSL?
Scale-Master
Yes Steve. It will be good to see you again too.
Scott Colmer
I followed this one from start to finish. Amazing and excellent work, mark. Few models are 100% scratch built such as this. Only reaches this level of finish. Well done!
Scale-Master
Thanks Scott. I'm still playing with it.. The can and cap are machined aluminum; I drew the art and made a decal for the labeling. It even has a little hollow red straw taped onto the can and the notch to store it in the cap. Harry P.
Thanks Scott. I'm still playing with it.. The can and cap are machined aluminum; I drew the art and made a decal for the labeling. It even has a little hollow red straw taped onto the can and the notch to store it in the cap. You're a maniac. And I mean that in the best way! You are on my Mt. Rushmore of modelers. Just insanely good.

chunkypeanutbutter
Did you make the tires, too?

Scale-Master
I keep a bottle of oil in the trunk of my real car so I copied it. Machined from aluminum and I made decals for the labels. The one in my car is a little dirty…
Nacho Z
That is just pretty darn cool. Both the oil and WD40. Very cool indeed!
Scale-Master
Might as well have a funnel to go with the oil…
Pete J.
Mark, That is just killer. You would never know it was machined aluminum. Well, the bottle, the funnel is pretty obvious. I really like the little bit of oil around the neck, just like a real one. Gotta love the junk in the trunk!
Monty
Love the new "accessories". It's amazing to think that that slightly dirty quart of oil started out as a chunk of aluminum. If you continue to make miniature works of art like this, they may start to draw more attention than the Seven. If I can (somewhat inaccurately) paraphrase a line from a classic movie: if you billet, they will come.
Scale-Master
Brake fluid bottle. Machined aluminum and custom made decals. Not as dirty as the oil bottle, but a little smudged and scuffed up from being stored in the trunk.
Kenny B
That is just crazyness. Wow. Super. Ken.
Scale-Master
With all the jokes about a giant ruler I've heard over the years, I thought "What if I made a little ruler?" My camera is having a hard time capturing the details.

sbk
Okay.... at first it was funny, but, now, based on the shadows, all of the objects are floating??? What have you done NOW, Mr. Jones?? Scale anti-gravitational manipulation?

Scale-Master
Good eye there Steve. I could not photograph them in my normal way outside due to the afternoon breeze; didn't want to deal with them blowing away. So I shot them sitting on a glass shelf in the garden window with a gray cutting board under the glass.
Ryan S.
This build is the gift that keeps on giving. Such incredible detail work and craftsmanship on everything, it's mind-blowing. It's a pleasure to watch your work, Mark!
