  1. Looking mighty fine. Could use a bit of touch up on the door panels, though.
  2. http://www.dommodelcar.com/kits.htm First off, the site is managed in Brazil, I think, and the site is in Portuguese. Second, I don't really know how much it costs. Nor how to order the kit, I guess use the contact button? Anyway, just thought I'd post it.
  3. I removed the dip rail too! Got the idea from this guy right here
  4. Looks amazing! Love the work you did on the windows, and the paint is SICK!
  5. Windshield? Real men don't need windshields. Real men simply tell the wind to get the *** outta the way.
  6. Have you guys seen this? I don't know the guy personally, but I have to say he is one crazy guy judging buy his current project! Sure, a giant RC car isn't quite what we're all building here, but is definitely impressive! This is the latest installment in which he covers his custom wheels. Also, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I figured it either goes under Big Boyz, General, or On the Bench, and On the Bench seems like the best place to give this build some much deserved attention.
  7. That's how resin is. Paying $40 for a body and interior tin or frame alone is usually average.
  8. I can't quite get my head around how these would work. Has anyone used them or similar? I figure these would be functional unlike scratch built paper clip ones I usually see.
  9. These guys have your basic stuff, not a lot of detailing, mostly just Revell and a few AMT/ERTL kits. They do have some stuff like ignition wire, but not a lot. Not bad buys, you'll save in the long run if you couple your stuff for better shipping rates. http://www.hobbylinc.com/ For detailing, I've got stuff from http://stores.scaledreams.com/StoreFront.bok The prices seem pretty fair from what I've seen.
  10. It's beautiful! I've been trying to find a good maverick model for some time now and all I can find are funny cars and a metal body basic builder one (I just finished one, it was missing pieces so I had to use a non matching wheel and I had to cut out the I6 to fit a v8, pain in the butt). Where can I get one of these kits? I'm interested because my car now, my first car (bought it last summer from my brother when I was 14), is a 74 Maverick.
  11. I'm sure many of you can relate when I say that bits of crud floating around in the air landing on, and thus ruining, our freshly laid paint jobs is not only a problem, but a real pain in the neck. So of course a spray booth would be a great idea... BUT FOR $260?! What exactly would justify this price? And worse yet is that's not even the most expensive, Check out this Aztek booth $434! I really don't get what makes these booths so special, can someone please explain?
  12. Found some pics of a really cool custom. Not sure of the source of the bike, but it looks like it would be a really fun build for one of you more skilled members (lol I'm too amateur).
  13. I've been looking for a while now for a twin/dual pyramid style blower/supercharger resin. I saw a vintage amt with one not too long ago and I know Ed Roth did some crazy concepts with some back in the day, and I was hoping to be able to get my hands on one. I've included an engine from the parts box, which has what I'm looking for, but I'm not interested in the whole motor, just the blower, and I'm not prepared to pay $20 plus another $10 when I'm only looking for the blowers. Also included is an image in real life application of what I hope to find. If anyone knows where to get it, or even just the pyramid to put the blowers on, I'd much appreciate it.
