  1. I live in Cortland, NY. I do not know of any model car club here. No model painters either, I have looked & asked. I build drag slot car bodies.
  2. Go to PCH, they have a large inventory of drag wheels, many different brands. PCH also has the least expensive shipping charges of anyone. PCH Parts Express 828 Wagon Wheel Rd. Oxnard, CA-93036 Ph: (805) 988-8044 (800) 258-7441 Fax:(805) 988-8059 http://www.e-slotcar.com/catalog/108
  3. Well, the original post was not specific at all. If someone wants a specific answer, the post should also be AS specific. There was no referance to Tony Nancy in the gentlemans post. So as far as being hilarious...NOT SO MUCH.
  4. Thanx for the reply. Just email me when you post the section on 'sectioning'. Here is a 'cuda that I just chopped (my first chop). I'd like to section bodies like these. I build drag slot car bodies.
  5. Do you have spare head lights or tail lights for this '99 mustang?
  6. I go to my local 1/8 mile strip all the time and I have never seen Jr Dragsters with parachutes...so I wouldn't worry about it.
  7. Need information and pics of how to section a model body. I have chopped 2 bodies just need to know how to SECTION.
  8. I use this stuff.... http://www.thedetailer.net/
  9. The rear tires are 1/8 Parma tires, I hate 'em, I just put them there for the pic. The chassis has 3/32 ballbearings, I will be using a 3/32 hollow axle & some way better rubber, for sure taller & a kool lookin' wheel. So I agree about the tires. Thanx about your comment..."WHAT A BEAST". The motor is from a diecast funny car I bought on eBay a few days ago. Except for that, the body has been interesting, it is resin & a lot of work went into what it looks like now. The chassis is an older DRS model. I'll keep ya posted, check back for more pics. Thanx again, Tom
  10. Thank you...Here's an update on the Daytona...check pics. http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...pg?t=1252895380 http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...pg?t=1252895418 http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...pg?t=1252895463 http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...pg?t=1252895497
  11. Hi Wayne...I like your bodies. I had a friend Brian make me the decals, front grille & headlights...one off, nice work. He used chrome foil paper to make the decals so the grille & headlights will be nice and shiney, along with the contingency decals...should look very cool. Another friend Josh McCall is painting the car like Rocca's Ironhorse...flames in the front, flat black. http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...ng?t=1252895002
  12. Getting closer to finishing...new motor install. Hope to finish this soon. Looking for a really cool painted interior. http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...pg?t=1252884710 http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...pg?t=1252885178 http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...pg?t=1252885217 http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab44/Dr...pg?t=1252885254
  13. This is the car that I hope my '49 Merc will look like. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3539/385364..._d43637f50b.jpg
  14. The 'cuda is being painted by Mike Coleman, here's his email address...tford70@sbcglobal.net. Look for MIKE C on...http://members.boardhost.com/CLUB400/. This is a great site just for drag slot cars. My '49 Merc Pro Mod with be done by Josh McCall, here is his web address...www.smallscalecustoms.com This 20 year old guy is REALLY talented...check his work on his web site.
