fat50
This was shot in Testors one coat "Icy Blue".
Guest
That is a sharp looking Olds Chris! The color looks really nice on it! I have a couple of models painted with "Icy Blue" and on both, the metal flake is way too big. On your model, the metallic looks right. Maybe Testors changed it? If the paint on mine looked like yours, I would be satisfied with them.
fat50
Mine has the big flake too. It just doesn't show up in the pictures. By scale, it would like like a 70's Ranger bass boat or a drum set LOL

Custom Mike
Beautiful Cutlass Chris, I've got one painted in that same color, it does fit it well if you ignore the bass boat effect!
Rob McKee
Very nice and clean!! I find all of the testors metal flake paints are a little out of scale. They are really nice to work with though. Looks great on your Cutlass.
charlie8575
I like the color scheme on it. Nice, clean build, too. Charlie Larkin

fat50
Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes, it is the AMT kit. Goes together without much fuss, I'd do another in drag version it I run across one. Anyone know what kit they borrowed the steering wheel from? It's not Oldsmobile.. bogger44
That is a beautiful shade of blue, and suits the Olds very well. Nice work.
Guest
Nice work on the chassis, engine and interior. I believe it is basically a Chevy steering wheel.

charlie8575
One thing I am curious about...were those yellow high-beams ever allowed in the U.S., or did you set it as exported to France? Charlie Larkin
fat50
They were common here in Michigan in the '70's. Whether they actualy help in the fog, beats me? I'll have to ask my older brother
Custom Mike
I remember seeing the yellow high-beams all the time as a kid in Illinois and Indiana, and I don't remember if they were of any help either.
