    27 T hot rod

Very true but, you can pick up a pretty good resin body from Jimmy Flintstone

This is one of my older builds but, it's also one of my favorites. The bod is from the AMT '25 Ford T with a scratch built turtle deck. The "Ford" 4 cylinder is actually a DOHC inline six from a Toyota Supra. The steering box, 1/4 rear leaf springs, and rear shocks are scratch built. front suspension was cut up so that the spring sit behind the radiator. Lastly the wheels are from the phantom vickie. Any questions, comments, or critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking.
  5. Sorry for the late response I haven't been on the forum in a loooong time. I have no idea where that turbo kit came from but, if you still need one I found this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Model-Meister-Resin-Turbo-Upgrade-Kit-for-1-24-Tamiya-Toyota-Supra-2JZ-GTE-/151433558350?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item234224b94e
  6. I think this photo of the K20 is a bit more clear. One can make out the turbo impeller made from sheet styrene.
  7. Some better shots of the of the seat belts and harness bar.
  8. JDM LOVE! This is thing is going to be great! Keep me posted, I will do the same.
  9. I would say I'm about 80 percent done. Paint, interior/chassis/rim detailing and then final assembly. I'll hopefully have this thing wrapped up in the next few months. Right now I'm just waiting for warmer weather so I can paint.
  10. I love to hear from other folks that are into some old school JDM rides. Most of the guys in my club build WWII armor or, american muscle (Nothing wrong with either one I mess with USDM stuff to). They all dig my builds but, they do look at them a little crazy LOL.
  11. Good call on keeping the B18, swapping in the K-series is stupid hard. It took a year of consistent work it just does not want to fit. The header is made from aluminium rod the rest is all solder that I hit with some Scotch Brite. The Solder is a bit softer and easier to bend than the aluminium rod and, it doesn't kink as easily. Good luck with your Honda project hit me with some picks when you get a chance.
  12. Thanks for kind words/inspiration to keep going you guys! I'll keep posting more picks as I go.
  13. I LOVE Japanese cars especially when they are slammed on deep dish rims. This one is box stock from an Aoshima kit although I did lower it a bit.
