  1. That's a great build Shawn, pretty sure I saw this very car racing at Longford in Tassie Dave B
  2. They're exceptional builds of what appears to be a very nice kit Doug. Tks for sharing. Dave B
  3. Looks the part Phil. Like you I'm a Cobra fan, if I have 1 must have 10. Dave B
  4. That's a great build Thomas. I like the fact its of a specification I've never heard of!! Tks for posting. Dave B
  5. Looks good Gary, they were a nice basic kit but I don't recall them having a driver? Dave B
  6. I hope Gary wouldn't mind my interpretation of his Miller Ford Indy kit. Dave B
  7. There's also an excellent DVD "Long Weekend at Longford". Well worth a look.
  8. Saw Clark race it in '65, I was 15, just lucky that dad was a motorsport tragic!! They do have a revival but I don't bother going as the track, as it was, no longer exists. There are a couple of good books on Longford.
  9. Before the net I just depended on model shops and magazines. No, no real shows or competitions down here but there are on the big island!! Saw the 32B race at Longford back in the day. Dave B
  10. PS, it appears that when entered at Sebring by the owner Donald McKnought the Borrani wires were painted white. The car was shared with William Eager and a minor crash on lap 67 forced them to retire. (Maserati A6GCS by Walter Baumer and Jean-Francois Blanchette) Regards Dave B
  11. Andrew, your build is going to be soooo much nicer than mine. I'm just happy to have something to work with. Dave B PS photos of 2053 attached
  12. Hi Philip, all is good over here, tks for asking. Summer time and modelling slows!! Still working on this, the A6GCS and I also have a 3D printed Ford C100 and P68 I'm playing with. Hope to finish this one soon and then the Maserati. Regards Dave B
  13. Chris, you need to Photoshop that into a pit scene, couldn't pick it from the real thing!! Dave B
