Only complaint about the kit was the dry transfers for the tires just would not settle down. Like most Tamiya kits, just shake the box... With one of the 40% off coupons from Hobby Lobby, kit was reasonable. Picked up the Xanavi Nismo GT-R for $18 at HL awhile back! Weather hasn't went south yet but with the mild summer I can only imagine what's coming in Jan! Thanks for the kind words.

1/24 Tamiya kit built OOB. Third kit I've finished. Took a little over a year to find the time to complete it. Black trim around the windows got a little bit screwed up by the clearcoat. Didn't want to try to fix it and really screw things up. Not too obvious unless you get up close. Thanks for looking.

Got some Tamiya clear today and will give it a try hopefully tonight. Holiday traffic was insane. One hour to go about 10 miles round trip... Thanks again!

Never would have thought of either! Thanks a bunch. I'll hit the LHS tomorrow and pick up some Tamiya clear. As far as Future, I usually dip clear parts and brush to seal masks. So I'm not too sure on what tacky would look like (if there's no clear to buy). Let it set up on the brush for a few minutes?

I'm building the Calsonic Skyline GT-R 2003 kit and one of the tire decals will not adhere to the tire. It's pulling up around the edges. Is Micro Sol safe to use on these kind of decals? I'm planning to spray with Dullcote but I'm afraid that will make the situation worse. Thanks.
