James2
I built this a couple years ago but was never really satisfied with the front wheels. Sooooooooooo... I found these in the parts box today. Better? Link to more pictures, http://s176.photobucket.com/user/fredjames_2007/library/32%20Nugget?sort=3&page=
Erik Smith
That's a cool model - I prefer the "before" wheels though.
SnakeBite Models
killer model, I as well like the original wheels too. But its your model
Darbo
Nice build, but i do prefer the whitewalls?
crazyjim
I like it the new way - but no front brakes? And it's SHINY :)
vintagercr
Very nice build! I like the new front rims.
Harry P.
The wheels (and the whitewalls) in the first photo are waaaaaaaaay better. If those clunky-looking spokes in the second photo and beyond were supposed to be an upgrade, you made a mistake! The spokes are far too thick and out of scale... they scream "model." Nice model, BTW. Aside from the front wheels, I really like it.
James2
I think the problem are the OG brake drums. It would be easy to put the first wheels back on without the drums!
realgone58
I like the wide whites and wires in front. However, I'd go with a wide white slick in the back to match. This is a really nice build. If you look at both pics, the car could be from a different time period in each pic.

cobraman
Looks nice either way but I think the whites look better also.

Albie D
Very cool build regardless James. I dig the cycle wheels though. Maybe they'd look better with a little black wash detailing? Edited April 29, 2013 by Albie D
slammedi'am
Looks great!!!
JM485
Really nice build! but I have to go with the common though here and say that the original front rims look much better.
Casey
Which wheels are on the rear? I'm guessing some type of "mag" wheel? The finned front drum brakes aren't a problem, IMHO, but the spoked wheels are-- both styles. Slap some mag style wheels on the front to match the rears and you're good. Is the paint Testor's Inca Gold?
hotrod4ever
Very cool build! I'd prefer mags or 10 spokes up front as my personal choice. I'd like to build one this nice. How did you make your hinges for the doors?
Chuck Most
Looks good both ways if you ask me. That's me... Mr. Indecisive.
58 Impala
Cool build, definitely like the white walls better.
James2
Thanks guys. The paint is Inca Gold and several coats of clear. I made half barrel hinges using the molded in door hinges, took alot of careful cutting! The rear wheels are from one of the dragster kits, I think. Again, thanks for the interest. Bernard Kron
Like so many others, I prefer the original front wheels. One thing to consider would be whitewall slicks at the rear... Maybe? But I dig the overall look and the rear 3/4 view is killer.
Harry P.
...the rear 3/4 view is killer. Oh yeah! That's the money shot!
