High octane
That is a real nice combo and it's too bad that the boat and trailer scale out to about 1/20th scale.
Bartster
I LOVE this. I would consider putting smaller tires on the trailer, though. You could fool a lot of marine challenged people like myself that way! Nice combo.

sjordan2
That is a real nice combo and it's too bad that the boat and trailer scale out to about 1/20th scale. How are the boat and trailer out of scale? In the 1:1 world, both come in a wide range of sizes (though the trailer tires do look too large). krazyglu
I love the looks of the model kit, you did a great job. I hope to get my hands on one of these kits someday.
Eshaver
This looks to be a combination of two old A M T kits , the Chevrolet Apachie and the Rayson Craft boat . Very nice either way ........ Ed Shaver
Paverblack
The original kit had a stepside bed and I swapped a friend for a fleetside
krazyglu
Ah very good observation Ed. The one I saw in my friends stash was a '65 step side and hemi hydro boat combo. All are very cool though and I like the aqua/white color combo. edit: haha thats funny, thanks for sharing this one Kenneth and I like the bed swap...very clever Edited February 3, 2012 by krazyglu
Eshaver
Steve , you still had to have found a Vintage bed as the annuals had the L W B bed . The Revell kits that followed , ( Fleetside 54 and Stepside 65) were both SWB kits ............. Ed Shaver
Dominik
How are the boat and trailer out of scale? Only the wheels from the trailer are locking tooo large in the diameter, but i also took the wheels of the kit when i built mine. I like this Combo! The colors are beautiful. crazyjim
Very cool. I have that Chevy & hemi hydro kit but am waiting until I can figure out how to real wood on the boat.
Terry Sumner
Jim..if you decide to use real wood for the boat, use basswood. The grain is very tight and more to scale than any other wood....

promo55
This is a great build! I do not think the boat is out of scale, and if it is, so what. It looks good, and that's an attractive color combination. Very well done!
