Say what you will. Everyone's an expert. The client I'm building this for is a car collector who owns just about every example of a 1950 and 1951 Chevy built. He's satisfied this will look just like his Business coupe when finished. I'm satisfied and so are about 2 dozen other people who want one. The Sedan has a longer roof and a shorter trunk. om617 Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 (edited) As i understand it the Business Coupe differ from the Sport Coupe as it dont have a rear seat and crank on rear windows. Also the Business Coupe has raised platform behind the front seats to give flat floor for loading cargo. No driveshaft hump. The quarter windows and roof are correct on this. What Oldsmobile calls the Club Sedan is referred to as a Fleetline in the Chevy world. I always thought that was obvious. First picture is of the '51 Chevy Business Coupe/Sport Coupe. Yes, a Sport Coupe has more options, a Business Coupe is a stripper. The bottom picture of a '51 Chevy Sedan. If you can't notice the differences, there's nothing I can do to help you. The Revell Olds kit is a coupe...the 2dr sedan has a longer roof and longer quarter windows. What confuses the issues is that Revell included decals for a race car that was actually a sedan. Realistically, I don't have enough inventory to do a show at this point. I probably won't be really up and running for another 6 months. I'd much rather make masters than cast, but sooner or later I'll have to start casting.
