CaptainAhab
My first try at a Tamiya kit (other than a motorcycle). A bit disappointed that there is no engine detail and the suspension is kind of lacking, but it does have the Gullwing doors which are pretty cool. Got a decent amount of the chassis done and painted the roll cage. The wheels are painted and and tires just need lettering. I also attached the front fascia, spoiler, and rear bumper (Went together effortlessly I might add). Shes ready for primer. Over all I'd say this kit is gonna go together very smoothly, Thank you Tamiya. Box Art: And the WIP: Now time for some interior work... Foxer
What irks me more than anything about this "no engine" kit is they have the nerve to put "V8" in the kit title. At least it will be interesting to watch your build.
Peter Lombardo
This is a neat kit. I have two of them, I stole the wheels on one of them for my Audi R8. I also liked the idea of the gull wing doors and agree with you on the kits shortcomings, but the paint scheme and doors sold me on it. You are off to a nice start.....I am sure it will look great when you are done.
