079.jpgIt's been awhile sence I've built a model so here's my 1st shot in 8 years. After my hobby room lost it's home for my girlfriends new quilting room I was surounded by unbuilt models. Not having made one in years I though to take the ugliest one I had and start cutting.

So here we have it my 2 door Impala SS.

I'm gonna stretch the doors and loose the rear door line. I'm thinking of moving the rear window piller forward and lining it with the new door line and filling and re-scribing new door lines to flow with the piller. Open would look cool but any adivise or thoughts as I'm giving the glue a day or two to set before I start the doors. The rear window opening will scribed and cut as it had no moulding or rail on it. just smooth.

I have no thought on the int yet but I'd like to keep the back seat. The motor might go vette or poss I rip the 57 apart for it. Wheels will be euro. Color black and??

Actually, I would think that they would be on the same wheelbase. Coupes were the same length as sedans when they were being built on that wheelbase. I own a 95 Impala SS and it's NOT an ugly car in MY opinion, and MY car will blow Marauders into the dirt. Chop up a Ford, you wouldn't notice the difference anyway.:wub:  B)
