trapper
does any body have a idea on how to make strut mounts for a pro stock car?
Mike Kucaba
I don't ,but google some of the major frame companies in Images and I'm pretty sure you'll find some inspiration.
Guest
Check out the drag section of the forum and find a thread where someone is scratchbuilding a chassis.

ScaleDale
Go to post number 11 in my '49 Merc Pro Mod build. I paid more attention to the strut mounts than I did on my Pro Stock Mustang. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78679 Here's the Mustang. Go to post 22. I didn't take the strut mounts into consideration until the chassis was painted and it caused a lot of trouble. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76723 Here's the real thing on a Top Sportsman. Yours for 85 grand! Dale Edited January 3, 2014 by ScaleDale

comp1839
there are quite a few ways to mount a strut front end. are looking to replicate something specific or are you just looking to make any ole' strut mount.
trapper
basically a basic mount like thet use on pro mod cars. thanks
comp1839
this is the style strut mount that all of the pro stock and pro mod cars today are running. basically, it allows the ride height / corner weight to be set without playing with the spring adjustment on the strut. you'll notice there is an adjustable cup in the upper mount. if you want or need more explanation, just ask. there is more than one way to mount the assembly you are looking at.
