Sergey
Update. Finally have painted the cab. The paint that I used half year ago, have dried. So I bought fresh one. It's - Mobihel "Moulin Rouge": Masking I guess I brushed too much layers. It's too dark. What do you thing? BMF is too old. And some areas haven't stick well. So the cab needs some work. Sergey
Altering the interrior tub. Extended the flor and glued the frame + added rivets down under. Next I cut out side walls of tub to move them closer to cab walls. By the way: what should I do to upload more then 5 photos at once? Jim B
Masking with BMF? Never thought of that. Expensive, but effective. Nice job on the cab & tub. I don't think there is much you can do to post more that five pics at a time. It's a new Forum setting.

donkeypuncher76
I am watching convoy on netflix as i post, sitting at the desk painting engine parts for my amt freightliner coe. Needed some referance pics as the instructions are blah, and I see this! That is some of the best engineering in our little world I have ever seen, bravo Sergy, you guys may laugh but if your base coat is plenty dry, like a week I just tried scotch tape on my 57 rodster 2tone as long as you peel it away right after shooting it works good 4 me, also thin blue mask from auto body supply works good. I am looking at this almost done truck and am sick after seeing this piece of art. Motivation I guess. thanks for all the steps on the custom parts also, will be using that shock idea. Sergey
Thank you, friends! Were made cutouts for door hinges and a cramp down under (left arrow)for steering wheel column: Here you can see aluminium mudflaps abowe wheel arc: They were made from styrene. Here are rear mudflaps: I also made door post around the periphery doorway Edited October 29, 2014 by Sergey
Sergey
The wheels were to narrow some places. I used tissue paper to "pump" tyres up. Note that a tyre on the right is too gloss. The left one is treated with tooth paste. Here you can see the difference between left and right tyres on disks: That's how I made new wind screen: the old one was too thick.
