John Pol
How do you guys when you build a funny car, rail, gasser or alter tie up your wires to the tube frame? Any help would be great even if you have photos of how you guys do it would be better. John Pol
TedsModeling
I experimented with this one. I used a sliver of Bare Metal Foil and added a drop of Future to 'glue' it in place. I was undecided whether to paint it or not - so far 'not'.
krazyglu
Wow Ted that looks amazing. I have seen guys use black thread..tie a knot. ,cut it and a dab of glue on the knot.

Find the right thickness of thread, and it will make perfect zip ties
gasser59
I use a fine strand of wire either silver or black, twist it on and then cut off the ends trying to keep the knot on the underside. I'd take a picture but my camera isn't working.
2002p51
I use sewing thread like Steven suggested. Either black or an off-white nylon color. Just tie in a simple knot, put a dab of CA on the knot, and trim the ends once it dries.

gtx6970
I've used the fine wire method a few times. I also use it to replicate the old corbin clamps on radiator and heater hoses
Pro Tech
I cut very thin strips of the metal (aluminum I think) duck tape. It's self adheasive, just wrap around and seal the end with "Future" so it never comes loose. Charlie Pro Tech

I'd take a picture but my camera isn't working. i have done this same method by striping a piece of 30 ga wire and using the wire and twisting it. I also. had tried cutting small strips of electrical tape but i found out if you move it after some time it leaves a sticky residue... so not best method in my opinion. I know that i have seen John Teresi use some tape on his builds and they look great but I forgot the name of the tape he once told me. Ben
I would use very thin Chartpack black tape. It's like pinstriping tape but it's not shiny, it has a dull flat finish. I would then cut a very tiny piece, wrap it around the frame and over the wires and then take a toothpick with a very tiny drop of superglue and touch the overlap. This should produce very convincing, scale "tie wraps".
