FatManScaleDesigns
I decided I should pull 1 of the 14 99 Silverados I have out and start building it. this will be very basic, nothing Special but I am hoping for an overall clean build. Color will be orange and it'll be as detailed as I can. ill update the thread as progress is made. I do need to get a paint brush so I can do small details so that's where I'm headed now. sjordan2
yeah not that i dont understnd why they are moving them, but its On the bench right? The truck looks good by the way! To me, that's the problem with the new policy with the trucks section. The biggest problem I have on the "other" forum is that you can't tell when a work in progress is done and when they're showing off the finished build, and you have to search through a lot of pages. The Trucks section here doesn't have a "Trucks in progress" or a "Finished trucks" topic, so that problem occurs here. But Harry has a poll going on there, and the results so far seem to share this point of view. If some of you haven't seen it, go vote in the Trucks section. Gregg and Harry have gone out of their way to accommodate truck builders, and this should be taken advantage of. I hope this thread will stay here long enough for members to get the information. FatManScaleDesigns
well sorry for posting this over here... I was unsure. anyways, I did very little to the truck but I decided to lower it a bit, then I added chrome escalade wheels in place of the stock Chevy wheels.. I also plan to detail the body more. the trucks purpose is its being.built for my diorama, it will be my shops part runner. I have a lot to do to it but I just wanted to show I've been doing small things to it.
crazyjim
That's nice kit and you're certainly doing it justice. Keep it going.
