  1. I always wondered what something like this would look like. You pulled it off nicely man. I love the look. Great job.
  2. Thanks for the help guys. (Just posting these here for myself)
  3. I've recently been working on a Revell 1970 Boss 429. I just painted the frame the other day, but as with my other car, I want a detailed underside with more than just the body color. Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions in terms of what to do? Thanks.
  4. I just bought Tamiya's Ferrari F40 Monte Shell Kit and I wanted to make a very detailed model. I have been looking at photoetch parts lately and this would be my first time using photoetched parts on a car. I've been looking at my options and found two different photoetch kits for the F40. One is from Studio 27 and the other from Scale Motor Sports. Has anyone used them or similar kits from either company? Which is the better option. Are there any suggestions for a first time photoetch kit build? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
  5. It kinda looks like a souped up trolley. I love the concept and execution though. Innovation = 10!
  6. I'm absolutely speechless. This car is absolutely amazing and as a huge fan of the CF look I give you another compliment. To obtain that level of detail with decals is mastery of the art. WONDERFUL piece of work.
  7. Well the sticker does say it has the stripe delete *free of charge*.....
  8. Very nice. The detail is just right. I was thinking about getting this kit and now you've hooked me. Just pout of curiosity, what paint did you use for you aluminum trim?
  9. Hm, i was hoping for something along the lines of a brushable paint.
  10. So as some of you know I'm new to the scene. As of now I am dissatisfied with the Testors aluminum paint because almost all of it's metal colors have a kind of "grainy" look to it. I was hoping someone would have a suggestion for a better paint. Thank you.
  11. That's 1:24th scale? WOW again, the detail and craftsmanship is again complemented, that much detail in a 1:24th is AMAZING.
  12. WOW! I have always loved Superbirds and this one is just amazing. Wonderful job, and that engine compartment is ... words can't describe how great that is. Is it possible to get some info on that kit (if it is a kit)? Just out of curiosity, what scale is that?
  13. Wow. VERY nice. Great craftsmanship and very detailed.
  14. Thanks guys. I look forward to it.
  15. I'm pretty new to the whole model car scene. I bought this model about three years ago and never really made any progress with it. On one of my breaks from school I was determined to finish building this model, the Cuda being my first model that I had ever been serious about building the "right way". Up until building this car I had no previous experience in the matter. Everything was either hand painted or sprayed with a rattle can on my porch and hung to dry in the bathroom. After accidentally melting the front suspension (don't ask) and subsequently picking up a spare model, I finished the car as I started college this year. I am very satisfied with the result and i give credit to this model for getting me hooked on the hobby. Comments/criticism is welcome.
