Why do people do these things?

Recommended Posts

Are you kidding?

The answer is obvious, you have accrued more possessions than you should rightfully have. Success to any degree is the Devil.

The thieves are merely trying to redistribute what should have been theirs' in the first place.

You owed those cars to the thieves.

2 cars in storage, oh my god how UnEuropean, how UnGlobalOrder, how UnNew American, how UnSocialistic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you had only rightfully been taxed more in the first place, you never would have had them.

What?? You say you were raised by caring loving parents and to do something like this would never even occur to you? Sucker-r-r-r-rr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was the America of reason and compassion. The America where people had kids because they wanted them. A long gone era.

Your parents obviously also had too much time on their hands not to completely ignore the responsibility of having, caring, loving and raising you.

It is all your fault, maybe even your parents fault, not that of the thieves.

Why is it that the criminals who commit this type of crime do not conveniently shoot themselves????

Where is the National Public Outrage??

Maybe we should ban Public Storage Units. Certainly this would stem the flow of crime and protect us all.

Dave, so sorry this happened to you! In two separate incidents I had my '56 Chevy stolen and another time, the windows broken while it was parked on the street. At least when people steal things, they have a motivation to get money. Vandalism is a worse thing in my mind because it's completely unproductive and destructive.

There's no sense trying to figure out the reason. One guy is angry at society, the others are just followers? Who knows what's inside their heads? There is no justification and you never know what people are going to do. As I sit here the TV news just reported that some lady was stabbed while shopping in Bath, Bed and Beyond while holding her baby in suburban Middletown, NJ. Scary because that's right where my relatives live. Quiet, safe suburban town. The 19 year old jerk who did it was followed to his apartment and immediately arrested. You just never know.

I had my drag car stolen from me back in 2008 right in front of my house without a trace. It was never found. I lived in a townhouse at the time and had no garage for protection, but I did have a detachable steering wheel, removable ECU,and a hidden kill switch. Our best guess is it was pushed from the lot and trailered or put on a flatbed. If driven or started it would have been heard for at least 1/2 mile away especially being that it was summer and the windows were open on the house. Now I have a garage for the current car,but I hope to never have the feeling that I had ever again when I saw that all the years of hard work and cash were all for nothing.
