I hope you all like lots of re-issues, but to me it's ok since I missed out on a couple of them.
Dates noted behind the item will and can change. Tom at Hobby Heaven should have some more announcements from other companies.

I hope the '49 Mercury will have a nice flathead with vintage speed parts, or at least a pair of correct ARDUN heads. I wonder what they did to the Chevell Z-16 to make it a 2n1, hopefully just things like wheels/tires, so it can still be built stock. Also be cool of the '30 Woody street rod still has those cool Kelsey Hayes wheels, and even cooler if it had a flathead added in.

Glad to see the '67 Corvette coupe back. This is the first time it is reissued. The rest of the list looks good, but I have a question: Why in the world a Cadillac STS-V when all the attention is on the CTS-V? A CTS-V with the optional racing parts and Andy Pilgrim's decals would be hit. I know it's been developed elsewhere, but not in plastic for the masses.

Thanks,

I couldn't agree more. While I like the STS-V and would build a model of it, the real hotrod with both street and racing cred is the CTS-V. That would certainly make for an awesome 2-in-1 kit if they did that! There's also the Corvette-based XLR-V that would also seem to make more sense, in a kit-sales way of thinking-even though I'd much rather have a Corvette in the first place

yeah i would buy that caddy and then convert it into the worlds fastest cadillac!

but i guess thats a cts? im not all that knowledgeable about detroit iron much less nowadays detroit iron.

this is the one i mean:

LundTee.jpg

saw it once at bonneville and it was awesome!

on a different matter im wondering about the 1/8 deuce...thats the big deuce, right? wasnt that recently reissued? is it now being issued again? that doesnt even seem like a "new release" to me...unless its got even more extras than the (magnificent) recent reissue did.

other than that, maybe the 58 chevy, maybe the 49 merc...for my purposes, blah.

wow, what a dissapointment, an STS?, so all the 60-80 year olds can build a version of there 1:1, The EXT better be an 07, it would be stupid to produce an 06 when AMT already has a nice 06 on the market. and notice alot are listed as 1:24 scale. is Revell maybe changing scales on us. and notice the 300C and Charger SRT-8's. would be nice to build an SRT-8 but the AMT kit has been out for a while now, and the Testors Charger is supposedly going to be out very soon. it would be awsome if the Silverado is the 07, but its prohibably just a reissue of the 99,

alot of reissue's, most of which can still be found very easily, the SVT F-150 is at Toys-R-Us for 5.99,

as idicated on HH, the 70 AAR Cuda will have an updated body, I wonder how the AMT kit will compare with the Revell. since there both going to produce 1970 Plymouth Cuda kits.

Any details on the 1/8 '32 Ford? Maybe we'll be getting a 3 or 5 window that's been rumored for a few years now?????

I too was hoping to see a 51 merc, but am still very happy to have a moden tooling of a chopped merc. If it was stock I'd be hoping for a spiced up flattie, but since it's chopped I hope we get a caddy or olds mill, there are plenty of great flatheads already available.

:? Hopefully the 55 Chevy Ht. is based on the excelant 55 conv. and not the old out of proportion 55 ht.

Word has it that it is based on the recent convertible kit with a new hardtop roof tooled for it. fing02.gif

Let's just hope the shape of the roof is right and the rear crown is not "shallow" like their '57.

These two are due for reissue again semi-soon, I hope.
