MichaelJ
I know you have seen this, but I've built 4-6 of these and enjoy'ed every one. This is a clean and nicely done kit for the imagination! Thought I'd show it to ya again... Michaelj...
Dr. Cranky
Thanks, Roger, and Michael, that's a beautiful model. Thanks for sharing, and for the comments, everyone. Stay tuned in for more progress.
Dr. Cranky
Making progress on all the other parts. The paint is finished and cleared and now I am just waiting for final assembly. Lots of details and touches left to do, etc . . .
Dr. Cranky
So far this kit has not fought me at all. I was expecting the front suspension to do so since I modified the wheels spindles to drop the model a few scale inches, but it hasn't . . . not yet . . . Here are all the components, including the body which still needs to be polished and shined up. Dr. Cranky
This paint job has grown on me a little and it looks real nice in the sun light, but we'll see how it turns out once it is assembled. In the meantime, I really like a project when it's at this stage before completion:
Jantrix
WOW! That looks fantastic! Great colors, great effects. Why the purple on the rear piece?
Dr. Cranky
Because the rear end has purple in it and I wanted to convey a sense of all that electricity cooling off. LOL.

Dr. Cranky
I was a bit worried about the stance on this sucker, so when I epoxied the glue and they looked firm, I tested the chassis with the body to see how it was going. Here are the results:
crazyjim
Wild, SHINY :) paint and the perfect rake, doc.
Dr. Cranky
Thanks, Jim, something (I wonder what that could be?) told me you would like this one. LOL. So far I really really love the way this kit has come together. It's a little tricky to get the chassis into the body but I think going slow and careful does the job. Working on the interior, the engine, and some other details which are bound to slow me way WAY down.
LoneWolf15
Stance is dead on ! That rake looks sweet ! I like the paint , wasn't sure when you first had it laid out where you were going with it . As usual , I just followed along to see where you ended up ! Lmao ! Dr. Cranky
Thanks, everyone. This kit has me very intrigued because I can see myself just building several. It's a fun kit to work on, and it really does have a particular appeal whether you go stock, racing, custom, or even daily driver. Lots of potential for folks who want a fun model to build.
