  1. you know, I thought the same thing!! looks like something out of the bottom of a lake!!
  2. you know, I thought the same thing!! looks like something out of the bottom of a lake!!
  3. I LOVE the PBR can! Looks awesome!!
  4. Just finished this one today. Built it up as a curbside because I didn't really care for the motor the Revell Good Guys 1937 Ford Coupe came with. The kit was pretty lame. There were tons of cool parts but no real way to add them to the car. I am thinking at one time this kit was retooled and they left some odds and ends parts on the trees. Never the less, I tried some new weathering stuff and I tried some foil work (my first time foiling and I learned a lot). Take and look and let me know what you think. Thanks, whitman80
  5. Sad news today. On my way to work I received a call from my mom, informing me that my dad managed to drop this model from a standing height and broke it into lots of peices! R.I.P. Stone, Woods and Cook Willys!! Thanks for all the nice comments.
  6. YESSSSSS! That is a dead-on post war rod! Great build and nice attention to detail. Where did you get this kit?
  7. Thanks Flatout! I used Dupli-Color Metalcast Anodized Blue. Not a typical paint for this application but it worked out pretty well plus I had it just laying around the house.
  8. I am pretty sure he liked it!! He doesn't build models but he loves cars.
  9. Super clean build! I almost bought that kit today.
  10. Just finished this one this morning and gave it to my Dad as a gift. WHAT A FUN AND FAST BUILD!! I built it up to look like their 1962 Gasser. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks! Mounted Hemi on Rolling Fame Still needed to put on the headlights DONE
  11. Man, I love those Bomber seats!! Nice Touch!
  12. Hey Y'all! Its been a while since I last posted anything. I had to take some time off to move and work. Last week I finish another 32 Ford. I did a lot of experimenting! Chopped the top, "Z"ed the frame, build a nice looking flathead out of some spare parts. It was a BLAST. I really didn't like the kit I used. It was a reissue from the 70s and most of the plastic needed a lot of trimming and for the most part didn't fit right. There is not interior or glass int this car. I probably going to finish that at a later date, stilling thinking over some different ideas for that part of the model. Take a look and let me know what you think! Here is the kit I used! Here is the finished work!
  13. I LOVED Orange Blossom Special II as a kid! I live in Bowling Green, Ohio which the home of the NTPA World Championship and I remember watching that truck run down the track! What an awesome build!
  14. Hey Rudy! I use pastels and chalk to make it looked weathered. Just make sure you use a spay fixing agent on it so the chalk doesn't rub off. Thanks for the positive comments. Whitman
