Read some more posts, i see all the nitpicking and realize my post may sound like those. Am not trying to nit pick myself. Was just giving a little helpfull info incase you didnt have it already. As for the build posts i have seen so far, looks cool.
You may have already gotten past this point in your build, but i thought i would let you know that the seats are different in the 68 than the 69. Plus the side lights are different. The 68 has round ones and the 69 has the rectangle ones. The other difference is in the dash but you cant tell in the kit.
I have seen photos of the real car with a peace sign for the headrest frame instead of the RP letters. Excellent job on that build, especially the paint. That is what i think the hardest part of this build, the paintwork.
74 Plymouth GTX body shell, dash, and interior tub. AMT 70 Dodge Superbee Prostreet chassis, engine, trans, drivetrain, wheels and tires, seats and other items.
Yes. I added the decals, wheels, and pushbar from the AMT kit. The rollbar came from another kit, i can't remember what right now. I put all this on Revell's 69 Charger R/T kit.
I used some of the General Lee specific parts on a Revell 69 Charger R/T. The General Lee kit was of poor quality, plus it was a Charger 500 body shell, which as you know is incorrect.
Here is my collection of 71 Dusters. I built them a few years ago and they arent my best work.
The blue one has a 440 with B1 type heads and a lenco trans. The yellow one has a 426 Hemi and an automatic. The red with white stripes has the 340-6 pack and a 4 speed. the red with black stripes has a 340 4 barrel and a 4 speed. The orange one has a resin cast slant 6 and a manual trans, split bench seat, and single exhaust.
