I bent some styrene rod to the shape I wanted and then carefully sliced the meeting point. Then I held the two pipes in position and used liquid cement at the connection, a little pressure and they melted together and kind of looks like a weld.

Thank you all. I haven't done a NASCAR in awhile. I had these decals and thought I'd give it a shot. I air brushed some Tamiya bright orange and used a few other colors for detail. That and a few tricks to make the body fit the chassis better and sit just right. It was nice to build something different.

Thanks, the side trim will be chrome, everything else will be black including the head and taillight trim.

I like what you have going here, both are worthy subjects. One suggestion if I may, if you used gloss, then apply the decals on Blasphemi and apply a flat clear over the black, the decals won't silver. I believe this is caused by the flat paint being porous which lends less surface for the decal to adhere. Just my .02
