I'm amazed at how you do things backwards. Assembling the chassis and engine as a whole, then painting, and now wiring. Then the body thing, painting then detailing....but youre getting great results. I am still flummoxed at that brush painted body. Keep it up! We all know how much this kits sucks, but your version is pretty darn cool!

thnx !! and well the handbrush paint is def not something i hope to do again in the future ..

big update and going towards completion >

did some gold / brass bmf on the firewall , added a tank (still rough) , drilled holes for the wires and bend them into shape.

then painted the wires red so they stick out , otherwise you wont see them real good

then used this brass looking sort of spring like ...(dont know what it is tbh)

and bended it into shape and .....

and well for ounce i did modern digital gauges , had these and never wanted to use them but since they fitted perfectly shape wise and layout wise ...

also made a shifter from a styreen base , a bend brass rod and a styreen knob (still needs paint)

then started to weather all the chrome with washes , the idea was to get a used / lived look without it becoming ratty

also did that on the windowframe , its almost dry matt grey and then dry brushed

after cleaning up some area's and using some different tones , it came out a bit like this

atm the headlights are drying , did the lamp houses red ...
