  7. havent been on this forum fora while these are nice reference pics iam building the one with the flat bed trailer and 40 ford. I think iam gonna put a hemi in it. that 361 in that chassis looks like a go kart engine!
  8. Hey guys thanks for the input. I've got the chassis put together. the piece I was refering to was a little chunk of springs 1/8" x 3/16" its attatched to the sprue, must have been an add-on for something else. thanks again Bob.
  9. Started building the chassis for this model, the directions are very vague. I was hoping I could get an insight from some of you who have built this model. My question is I noticed a small stack of leaf springs on the sprue 1/8x3/16,does it go somewhere else or is it a spare parts? So far its been a straight forward build, I have read some blogs of bad fitting doors most of them have been glued shut! Guess I'll deal with that when I get to it. Thanks for any help and info.   12. great looking model so far, when you all talk about long nose, I think of the one I see on the penn pike at least 3 days a week. The hood on this thing is gotta be 6ft. long and narrow. its a pete early model day cab ,wish I could get a pic of it but is never sittin still she pulls an alumunim dump, and is always haulin ass! and going in the opposite direction of me. good luck, bob robinson
