Holeshot Resins

Recommended Posts

Well, it's time for the big leap into the aftermarket world. My current job has now freed me up to be home on weekends so it's that time to start offering what I create to the public to where I can keep up with whatever orders come in.

For those of you that may have ever ordered items from a company known as Top End Miniatures (they don't exist any more) I was the silent partner with Chris Buck that did the majority of the masters. Once Chris was no longer able to play with resin due to health issues he turned over all of the molds and rights to me. I have been sitting on everything for a number of years along with still creating new masters but not having the available time to advertise and provide orders for anyone that may be interested.

I came up with a new name and a new enthusiasm to make this work. I currently do not have an official website but you can view all available items with pricing at my Fotki album site. http://public.fotki.com/1320wayne/holeshot-resins/

In recent weeks I met Ted Bowe from Teds Modeling Marketplace and he placed a large order and will be carrying a lot of my items as well so if you frequent his site you can order from there as well.

Due to my full time job I can say up front that my turn around for any orders will be in the 3 to 4 weeks area. I do not stock pile parts but cast as orders come in. And, I am also working on adding new items as frequently as time will allow.

The majority of what I offer is garnered towards the drag race builder but I am also looking at branching out into other areas down the road.

If you are interested in contacting me for any questions or placing an order you can send me a pm here or email me at waynes4880@aol.com

With all of this being said here is the latest pro mod body that I just finished the mold process on. It's a 37 Chevy with a sloped deck for the builder to add whatever type of wing they like.

With the growing popularity of outlaw drag radial,x275,10.5,8.5 etc there is definitely an opening in the hobby for parts (aftermarket)for this genre. All of the wheels that are I kit form are of vintage type of wheels, there are a few people casting drag radials but weld draglights and centerlines' have become old and outdated for a modern drag car. There at however sveral different cowl hoods from aftermarket vendors as well but supercharger, turbo and nitrous related parts are scarce as well.I think if you address some of the vacancies then you will have a very lucrative business, you will certainly get my business
