    427 Cobra.

Looks great! Nice to see this one in yellow.
  2. Thanks all for your great comments! I appreciate. There's quite a few kit of the 250 GTO. From what I read, if you don't want to put big money on Model Factory Hiro kit, Revell germany kit is one of the best to get. I got this fujimi at very good price and I'm not a Ferrari purist, but I think this fujimi is a better than average kit. Thanks all!
  3. Here's a quick out of box build of the Fujimi Ferrari 250 GTO I just finished. Not much to say about this kit. It's a nice Fujimi kit with enough details to make it a nice kit. You can see picture of the work in progress over here. Hope you enjoy!
  4. Nice work and great picture!
  5. ok, Revell Germany then The Focus is actually a good kit, The Ford GT on another hand need a lot of work to be acceptable.
  6. Actually I have the Ford Rally from Simil'r half done, and I can say quality of BelKits is much better. More details, crisper molding, much better fiting and less mold line. Overall Simil'r are comparable to Revell. Belkits compare to the best Tamiya in my opinion. Thanks all for your comments! I appreciate!
  7. Still have the Skoda in my stack and I'm looking forward to their Polo and of course that RS 1600. Really impressed by Belkits! Thanks for the comments!
  8. First time with a BelKits kit and must say these guys really know how to do models. Great kit, nice finish, it's on par with the best Tamiya kit quality wise imo. Pit Wall decals are also very good. Nice fit and of course cartograph quality. The pattern of the semi-gloss and gloss finish makes it a bit weird on pictures and the carbon color was WAY to light (had to use Tamiya smoke to darken it) but I think the result isn't too bad. You can see pictures of the Work in Progress and Instructions/Sprue on my website. Hope you enjoy.
  9. Had this kit before. After inspection, I came to the same conclusion as you. This kit can be made to look really good, but lot of work is needed. See it like a resin kit, but in plastic. Good luck with it! Will follow.
  10. Thanks for the great comments! It's 1/20, like tamiya and most F1 kits. Compared to the Honda ra272, the Lotus is quite a bit bigger in size, but both are 1/20. Thanks again!
  11. Thanks for all the great comments! I use many shades of Alclad Paint. In that case, it's a base coat of "Steel" (or Magnesium, both are close), then Exhaust Manifold (this color give the whole "dark bronze color") then finish the extremity with Burnt Iron with a few accent here and there. You have to use an airbrush for this, but Alclad paint are really great to work with!
  12. After doing my Honda F1 RA272, I started my first Ebbro kit with the Lotus Type 49 1967 The quality of the kit surprised me. I used some parts from Accustation. boy these guys don't know what "value for money" mean and the instructions are useless if you are mot Japanese fluent.. Hope you enjoy!
